End Of Life
Illness can be frightening and worrying at any point in your life. If you or someone
you are caring for has been told that their illness is life limiting and you or
they may not get better – Nestor Healthcare can help you. Our teams of specially
trained care staff can support you and your family at home, in your own surroundings.
We can work alongside any Health professionals if required to provide safe, reliable,
high quality care in your chosen place.
Our branch network covers a large proportion of England, Scotland and Wales from
Scottish Islands to the major towns and cities and our staff are recruited from
the local area to ensure they understand the needs of the communities they are working
in.
How can we help?
Nestor Healthcare offers one-to-one personalised care, providing a range services
such as assistance with washing and dressing, meal preparation, assistance with
medication or companionship, respite or live in care and includes complex care.
Sometimes practical help is all that you may need, so we can make sure your washing
is done, go shopping for you or come with you for hospital appointments. As your
needs change we can work with you or with the person you are caring for, to review
the support, making sure it reflects individual changing or increasing needs. More
With Nestor, care and support can be purchased in many ways, through local authorities,
Primary Care Trusts, NHS, and Direct Payments/Individual Budgets or purchased directly
from us by the person who needs the care or those caring for them.
However care is purchased, we are always focussed on working with people to promote
Dignity and Privacy. We support individuals to have control over their lives and
ensure that the people who use our services can choose how they receive care, where
they receive it and at time, that meets their needs.
We are committed to providing care and support in a way that is expected, wanted
and possibly, at a time in people’s lives when they need it most – which for us
means it is even more crucial we always get it right first time and everytime!
